Details This study aims to clarify the relationship between attribute evaluations, product evaluations, and product selection. The results of analyzing per-product aggregate evaluation data on wireless earphones/headphones from a price comparison website are compared with those of the consumer survey conducted by the author. Both results show congruency regarding the relationship between attribute evaluations and product evaluations. The consumer survey results also confirm that attributes referred to during buying behavior affect post-purchase product evaluations. The author presents a cyclical conceptual diagram connecting attribute evaluations, product evaluations, and product selection, implying that online platforms providing aggregate attribute evaluation information facilitate this cycle and help consumers choose products based on quality.
