概要 BMD was studied in 34children with spastic cerebral palsy, 40children undergoing anticonvulsant therapy, and 29 normal children. These results
suggest that the high incidence of femur fractures in CP is related not only to mechanical stress overload on
the lower legs but to the strongly diminished BMD of the lower limbs and pelvis as well. And that BMD of the lower limbs and pelvis are also associated with standing posture and walking.
（訳文）痙直型脳性まひ児34例、抗てんかん薬治療児40例、健常児29例の骨密度が検討された。結果は、下肢への長軸方向への荷重が重要であるだけでなく、骨 盤、下肢の骨密度低下にも関連があることが明らかとなった。骨盤、下肢の骨密度はまた、立位・歩行という運動機能と高い関連があることが示唆された。
