Details | In accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), which has had a significant influence on foreign language education policy in Japan in recent years, the descriptors ("Listening," "Reading," "Spoken Interaction," "Spoken Production," "Writing") of the CEFR-J Japanese version (Version 1.1), which was developed specifically for the framework of English in the Japanese educational environment, were assessed using a 4-point scale. In this study, 110 descriptors (22 items in each domain) of the CEFR-J Japanese version (Version 1.1) were surveyed using a 4-point scale to assess the confidence of 591 students enrolled in 2017. In order to create a CAN-DO list based on the characteristics of each faculty, through the analysis of the survey results, we discussed the setting of the division points in the subdivision of the level indicated by CEFR-J and proposed a modified model. |
