Details This book, published as a special commemorative journal for the 40th annual conference of the Japanese Association for English Language Education (JASELE), reports on practical examples of the practices for the improvement of English education in each regional association. In this practice, I introduced a teaching strategy that integrates "presentation" (speaking) with "writing" in the language activities included in "spoken production". Specifically, graphs and tables were given as resources, and the class was designed to maintain an integrated relationship between the two skills, with "writing" (summarizing the information obtained from the resources, paying attention to grammar and sentence structure) and "speaking" (explaining the information to others orally in an easy-to-understand manner) as the main language activities. The paper reports on lessons designed to maintain an effective relationship between the two skills.
