| Author and coauthor | In this paper, I tried to position "summarizing" not only as a means to measure whether students understand what they have read, but also as a perspective to evaluate the thinking process leading to understanding through the evaluation of the contents expressed in the summarized text. In the case studies introduced here, the evaluation perspectives of foreign language studies are rearranged within the framework of the perspective of "the ability to think, judge, and express oneself." |
