Details English has been introduced into elementary school as a new subject area since 2020. A survey shows that roughly 70% of classes are taught by homeroom teachers. They play an important role in teaching subjects in that their classroom management skills have an advantage that junior and senior high school teachers don't. This article shows how important it is to foster an attitude of being tenacious in learning language, based on a experimental class conducted at an elementary school.
