|概要||The purpose of this study was to clarify adaptability the READI-J-S to inexperienced nurses, and current status and issues in Japan.
Anonymous self-administered questionnaires including the READI-J -S with 32 items which was categorized six dimensions. The READI-J-S questionnaires were sent to 1,107 registered nurses.
A total of 575 valid responses (51.9%) were analyzed.The respondents assessed themselves as having moderately disaster readiness capabilities except for operational competency. The total scores of the READI-J-S significantly associated with the following factors: past disaster training experience, nomination as the dispatched member, and family agreement in next dispatch activities. The Cronbach's coefficient alpha for the total scale of the READI-J-S and all the subscales were 0.92 and 0.77 to 0.93, respectively.
The READI-J-S is available for inexperienced nurses of disaster relief activities.
