The purpose of this study was to assess whether use of a low temperature sauna (LTS), which raises rectal temperature by approximately 2°C, is associated with suppression of urinary albumin (u-Alb) excretion in a 5/6 nephrectomy mouse model.The LTS protocol inhibited the progression of renal failure. The intensity of LTS used in our study was not harmful to the 5/6 nephrectomy mouse. |
