Details As an evaluation tool for practical training in the first year of nursing, the conventional evaluation chart (5-step evaluation) is unclear in terms of the basis for evaluation. Therefore, ICE, which consists of three phases, I (Ideas), C (Connections), and E (Extensions) A study was conducted to introduce the framework of the model. Therefore, through the comparison of the evaluation of the conventional practical training evaluation chart (5-step evaluation) and the ICE rubric that we created, we clarified how it affects the overall evaluation. As a result, the ICE rubric was expected to be more pedagogically effective and supportive of education for diverse students than the traditional practice evaluation chart. communication between students and faculty was necessary to understand the effectiveness of the ICE model.
