Details | Anxiety disorders have a reported lifetime prevalence of approximately 14–29% worldwide. Abnormalities in the limbic neural circuits have been implicated in the onset of anxiety disorders. However, the molecular pathogenesis underlying anxiety disorders remains poorly elucidated. We propose that regulation of MARCKSL1 in the central amygdala plays a pivotal role in anxiety disorders. |
