Details The purpose of this study was to determine the degree of interest and preparation for lectures when clickers are used. A questionnaire administered to speech-language-hearing therapy students following their first and last lectures, indicated interest was significantly higher in the first lecture than the last lecture. There were significantly fewer responses indicating lectures were ‘difficult’ and ‘uninteresting’ after the first lecture than the last. We undertook Customer satisfaction( CS) portfolio analysis and made comparisons between the two lectures. CS portfolio analysis suggested that homework is considered an important point for improvement. We then used clickers in the lectures and revealed an increase in student interest and preparation time. We plan to continue investigating ways to increase the satisfaction of speech-language-hearing therapy students in lectures using clickers.
