Details The main objective of this study was to clarify the examination performance of speech-languagehearing therapy students in assessment practice and general practice, using checklists provided to the students. The subjects were 91 students who completed assessment practice( 3 weeks) and general practice( 8 weeks). We used a 101-item checklist to identify the examination performance of students during assessment practice and general practice in which more than half administered major examinations such as cognitive function, language function, speech function, and swallowing function. Number of the “imitation early period” in standard language test of aphasia was significantly lower in general practice than in assessment practice. Number of “implementation” of neck auscultation was significantly higher in general practice than in assessment practice.
