Details マウスの自発的な身体運動が脳損傷後の脊髄における神経発芽や運動機能回復に効果的であることを見出した。神経軸索の伸長阻害作用を持つSHP-1の抑制と自発的運動を組合わせた結果、脳損傷後の神経発芽や運動機能回復が相乗的に増大することを明らかにした。
