概要 Recent years have seen a widening market share of e-books, and the increasing availability among students of devices to read these e-books. In the present study, students from two Japanese universities read two specified graded reader titles, one in paper format, and the other in electronic format. Students then answered comprehension and vocabulary quizzes for each book, and completed a survey about their impressions for each format. Results of the vocabulary and comprehension quizzes were analyzed to determine whether one format presents an advantage over the other, in the context of extensive reading.
