概要 Myticalin A6, myticalin A6 (4-26)-OH and myticalin A6 (6-26)-OH showed antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus. Cyclo{[Asp26]-myticalin A6 (16-26)} and cyclo{[Asp26]-myticalin A6 (6-26)} exhibited no antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The secondary structure of myticalin A6 in distilled water, 20% or 40% TFE was examined using circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy, but no α-helical structure was observed.
